Description:

Leukeran is prescribed for various blood and lymphatic system cancers, sometimes in combination with other cancer medications, as determined by the physician. It's crucial to take Leukeran on an empty stomach, or 1 hour before and 2 hours after a meal, preferably at the same time daily for optimal results. Follow your doctor's instructions precisely to avoid serious side effects. While it may take some time to observe the benefits, do not discontinue unless advised by your doctor.

Leukeran can lower blood cell counts, increasing infection risk. Regular blood tests to monitor blood cells, kidney, liver, and heart function are necessary during treatment. Effective contraception is crucial for both males and females to prevent pregnancy during treatment with Leukeran.
